PRIVACY & TRANSPARENCY

Terms of use

The rules for your account, course participation, materials and certificates.

1. Scope and identification

These terms govern ACES Academy at acesportugal-academy.pt, an initiative identified with ACES Portugal — Associação Portuguesa das Cidades Europeias do Desporto, powered by GADES Sports. The institutional contact is geral@acesportugal.pt and the address is Rua do Zambujal n.º 7, 2.º Direito, 2725-472 Mem Martins, Portugal.

2. Account and responsible use

Provide accurate information, protect your password and use the account for the available purposes. Sharing credentials, abusive use, attempts to access another person’s data or introducing harmful files or code are not permitted. Report suspected unauthorised access to the team.

3. Course information and enrollment

Read the programme, objectives, duration, format, dates and edition conditions before requesting enrollment. A request is not confirmation. The team confirms enrollment and, where required, payment or exemption. Cancelled enrollment does not provide access to reserved resources.

Content marked as a demonstration is a catalogue simulation and not an open training offer. Do not make payment based solely on a demonstration price.

4. Payment and specific conditions

The platform records administrative payment validation and does not process cards. Payment methods, the invoicing entity, cancellation, refund and any applicable withdrawal rights must be communicated for each actual offer before contracting. These terms do not exclude mandatory legal rights.

5. Materials and sessions

Materials are for authorised use within training. Downloading does not transfer intellectual property rights. Respect author instructions and permissions; do not redistribute reserved materials or session links without permission.

External session links depend on the specified service. Organisers must provide advance information on participation conditions and any recording. Recording or disclosing other people’s data requires an applicable legal basis and permissions.

6. Participation certificates

Certificates become available after completion, validated access and the edition’s minimum attendance requirement. Incorrect attendance can be reviewed by the team. The document evidences participation as recorded and does not by itself confer an academic degree, professional title or accreditation not expressly stated.

7. Availability and responsibility

The team aims to maintain availability and correct errors, and may perform maintenance or take measures in response to incidents or abuse. Relevant communications use available contact details. No provision excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Privacy, contact and updates

Data processing and cookies are described in their policies. Contact geral@acesportugal.pt for support or questions about these terms. Changes are published with the applicable date and version. Conditions of training already contracted are not changed retroactively by a simple update to this page.

9. Applicable law

Portuguese law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection and jurisdiction rules. Complaint and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms applicable to a commercial offer must be identified before contracting.
